The Vision of Said Mohamed Muse
Said Mohamed Muse was born into a fishing family in Bosaso. He grew up near the sea and learned the regular pattern of the tides. From a young age, he knew that the waters off the Somali coast had some of the cleanest and best-quality seafood in the world.
In 1997, driven by a desire to share this bounty while uplifting local fishing communities, he founded Raasi Ahmar Fishing Company (RAFCO). What started as a small local operation has grown into a premier export business.
