The Vision of Said Mohamed Muse

Born into a fishing family in Bosaso, Said Mohamed Muse grew up with the rhythm of the tides. He understood early on that the waters off the Somali coast held some of the most pristine, high-quality seafood in the world.

In 1997, driven by a desire to share this bounty while uplifting local fishing communities, he founded Raasi Ahmar Fishing Company (RAFCO). What started as a small local operation has grown into a premier export business.

Today, RAFCO combines traditional respect for the ocean with modern standards of quality and logistics.
